The Department of Neuroscience welcomes Morgan Rogers-Carter, a postdoctoral research scientist at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, who will discuss "The Role of the Insular Cortex to the Nucleus Accumbens Pathways in Social Affective Behavior."
Rogers-Carter earned her Ph.D. at Boston College in 2019, studying the molecular dysfunctions and neural circuitry that underlie social impairments in disorders such as autism and schizophrenia.
