Join us this fall as we launch a new tradition — Kenyon Men's Soccer Alumni Weekend. After hearing from many of our alumni, we've moved our annual reunion from the spring to the fall, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy beautiful autumn weather, reconnect with teammates and friends, and cheer on the Owls during an exciting home match.

The centerpiece of the weekend will be our Saturday, Oct. 3, matchup against DePauw University, with kickoff at 2:30 p.m. DePauw eliminated Kenyon in last season's NCAC Tournament semifinals after winning both the regular season and tournament championships, making this one of the most anticipated games of the season. We hope to pack Mavec Field with alumni support and create an unforgettable atmosphere for our current team.

We are excited to begin this new tradition and hope you'll join us as we celebrate the people and moments that have shaped the history of Kenyon Men's Soccer.

We can't wait to welcome you back to Gambier!

This year's alumni weekend will honor two remarkable chapters in Kenyon Men's Soccer history:

First, we are proud to recognize the 1973 team, coached by Jim Zak, which finished 11–2 and captured the Midwest Liberal Arts Soccer Association (MLASA) Championship. Before the NCAA sponsored a Division III National Championship, winning the MLASA title represented the pinnacle of collegiate soccer achievement. We are thrilled to welcome members of this historic team back to Gambier.

We will also celebrate the extraordinary coaching careers of Chris Brown and Darren Moore, whose leadership helped restore men's soccer as one of the nation's premier Division III programs. Together, they led the Owls to:

  • 7 consecutive NCAC Regular Season Championships (2015–2022)

  • 5 NCAC Tournament Championships

  • 9 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (2013–2022)

  • A remarkable 50-game NCAC regular season unbeaten streak

Their impact on the program, its student-athletes and the Kenyon community continues to be felt today.
