Have you ever wanted to juggle? A math graduate student once boasted that he could teach anyone to juggle in one hour ... and this is how a young future-Kenyon-professor learned to juggle in the 1980s. Now, Professor of Math and Statistics Brian Jones wants to give back. If you want to learn to juggle, give him one hour (or 50 minutes). One more thing, if you ask "Can we have class outside?" the answer might be (weather permitting) a resounding "Yes!"

There are beautiful mathematical patterns in juggling and surprising connections between juggling and analytic geometry, combinatorics, and group theory, and we'll look at a few of these while you throw objects at Professor Jones.

Join us on Monday, April 27, from 3:10 - 4 p.m. for this fun-filled last Math Monday of the year! We will start things off in Hayes Hall 109. We hope to see you there!
