The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures welcomes Jonathan Mayhew, professor of Spanish at the University of Kansas. A poet and translator, Mayhew is the author of five books and numerous articles on Spanish poetry and Federico García Lorca. His most recent work is "Lorca's Legacy: Essays in Interpretation." Mayhew is currently working on a book about musical adaptations of Lorca's work.
