The Fed is hiring! With the spring hiring season getting underway, join economics major Ryo Tashiro ’09 to learn what it’s like to work at the Fed and how to navigate their hiring procedures.

Ryo is a regional economic advisor at the Philadelphia Fed. In the course of his work, he travels and speaks to various groups about the economic outlook and the functions of the Federal Reserve. In turn, many of the research topics Ryo has pursued were inspired by these conversations with the public. Those topics include his two main areas of focus, labor economics and demographics. Prior to joining the bank in June 2016, Ryo was a business analyst for Bloomberg. In addition to his economics degree from Kenyon, Ryo also obtained a master’s in economics from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor.

Kenyon is committed to creating inclusive events. This event will feature optional live streamed captions. Please contact us to discuss other access considerations needed to participate fully in this event. If you require closed captioning for this event, please contact us.
