The Kenyon Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Professor of Music Ted Buehrer, performs its Spring Concert on Saturday, April 12, at 5 p.m. in Rosse Hall Auditorium. The program will feature music by Maria Schneider, Mary Lou Williams, Stevie Wonder, an arrangement of a Frédéric Chopin Nocturne and several more.
The ensemble consists of seniors Hayden Fletcher, Peiyan Huang, Kyle Kelley, Loch McRae, Josh Temple, and Khue Tran; juniors Audrey Gibson and Katie Taylor; sophomores Jaewoo Han, Sam Lawyer, Sebastian Miller, Jordan Shaevitz, and Kat Skillings; and first-years Cam Benedix, Austin Durgin, Vivien Luce, Maeve Reichert, Ivy Tollefsen, and Kai Ward. They will be joined by vocalists Beija Waltmunson and Benjamin Priestland for two selections.
