Whether you’re interested in marketing, writing, content creation or social strategy, this session will give you practical insight — and a tangible takeaway — you can use right away.
Workshop Overview
We’ll kick things off with a brief introduction to Milestone and Emma, plus an overview of how we approach social media for our clients. Then, you’ll see a mini social strategy in action using a real brand you know.
We’ll break down content pillars, grid layouts, creative direction, and walk through photo, graphic, and video-based content ideas — ending with example captions that include strong hooks and clear CTAs.
After the mock presentation, you’ll get hands-on experience. We’ll introduce a short creative assignment where you’ll practice writing captions for a carousel using provided imagery or a reel. You’ll have time to work independently, then we’ll regroup to share ideas, workshop captions together, and offer real-time feedback.
Bonus: This assignment may double as a writing sample for our internship application, giving you a head start and replacing one of our usual social prompts.
We’ll wrap up with details about Milestone’s internship program, how to apply and plenty of time for questions.
