Kenyon's Javanese Gamelan Ensemble (MUSC485) will present its end of semester performance, performing a varied program of Indonesian music and dance  centered around our beautiful set of Javanese instruments (featuring different sizes of bronze gongs, metallophones, xylophone, two-string fiddle, flutes, zither, drums and vocals).

We are delighted to welcome our special guest artists Joko Sutrisno (lead musician), Tri S. Martodikromo (dancer) and other guest performers from Earlham College and Chicago-based Friends of the Gamelan. The ensemble is under the direction of Professor Maria Mendonça.
