During Commencement Weekend, graduating students and their families are invited to a guided tour of the magnificent book that Kenyon recently published to mark its bicentennial — and maybe win a free copy.

Richly illustrated and beautifully written, “Place and Purpose: Kenyon at 200” celebrates the College’s fascinating history, stunning campus — from architectural masterpieces to oddities and hidden nooks — and connections with its rural surroundings.

Coeditors David Lynn '76 and Daniel Laskin will highlight the remarkable design features as well as the powerfully vivid essays that make this book a colorful mosaic of quintessentially Kenyon voices and images. Audience members will receive raffle tickets as they enter the presentation, and at the end a drawing will determine who gets a free copy of this extraordinary book.
