Inspired by Faith Ringgold’s "Dancing at the Louvre," on display at the Gund Gallery April 17 - May 20, Dancing at the Gund will help you become more comfortable in a gallery setting by engaging with art through movement.
This guided activity will allow you to explore the quilt in a new way, by moving in response to the artwork. Like the figures pictured in the quilt, you will move playfully and intentionally, finding yourself in a position that mimics the work. Gund Gallery Associates will also provide a docent talk about "Dancing at the Louvre."
