Learn about the master degrees you can earn to pursue a career in public service.
A Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a graduate degree designed to prepare students for leadership roles in public service. It’s often considered the public sector equivalent of a Master of Business Administration (MBA), focusing on the management and implementation of public policies rather than business practices. At the John Glenn College of Public Affairs, we don’t just prepare you; we transform you into a catalyst for meaningful change. We offer two-degree programs for recent graduates:
- Master of Public Administration (MPA): Your key to mastering the art of public service.
- Master of Public Administration-DC option (MPA-DC): A specialized pathway that places you at the heart of policymaking in the nation’s capital.
