As part of Transgender Day of Remembrance, Unity, QTPOC, and Gender Group will co-host a screening of "Call Her Ganda." A documentary about the investigation of the murder of a trans Filipina woman, "Call Her Ganda" has won several international film awards. It will run for 97 minutes and trigger warnings for imperialism, military violence, anti-trans violence, racism, and transmisogyny.
Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance on Nov. 20 that honors the memory of transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
