The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County will observe "Let Freedom Read" Banned Books Week 2023 from October 1 - 7 with a series of activities based on Art Speigelman's "Maus."
The library has partnered with Kenyon's Office for Community Partnerships to offer a book giveaway starting September 19. While supplies last, stop by the library at 201 N. Mulberry Street for a complimentary copy of Spiegelman's classic. Books are also available at the Kenyon College Bookstore.
