On April 30, 2022, the Village of Gambier and the entire Kenyon community will celebrate a once-a-century occasion: 4.30.22 Day! The entire Kenyon community is invited to gather in the Village of Gambier for:

  • 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  | Village-led activities and student-led programming for all ages, a Free Reunion for Life raffle, giveaways and food trucks along Middle Path outside the post office, $1 scoops of ice cream at the Bookstore 
  • 12 p.m. | Ceremony on the steps of the post office, including a proclamation by Mayor Leeman Kessler '04 and a 43022 poem reading by Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies Royal Rhodes
  • 12:30 p.m. | Parade outside the post office
    (Any student groups or individuals wishing to participate in the parade should line up on W. Brooklyn Street next to the Village Market at 12:15 p.m.)
  • 1 – 2 p.m. | Alumni happy hour at the Village Inn with hosts Paula Barone '72 GP'25 and Sam Barone '72 GP'25. First drink is on us!

The annual MLL Colloquium will also take place beginning at 8:40 a.m. with a special alumnae session at 12:20 p.m. and closing remarks at 1:10 p.m.
