With the expiration of the COVID-19 public health emergency on May 11, 2023, Kenyon has transitioned to treating the disease as one of several endemic infections that can spread rapidly through local populations. Kenyon remains committed to encouraging good public health practices and has folded relevant COVID-19 protocols into its standard operations.

  • All students are required to receive the vaccines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, unless they qualify for a medical or religious exemption. Employees are strongly encouraged to do so as well.

  • While not required, anyone who wishes to wear a mask will be supported in doing so, at any time.

  • To minimize the spread of infection, students and employees should follow CDC guidance if they experience symptoms of illness or test positive for COVID-19.

  • Rapid COVID-19 tests can be administered to students at the Cox Health and Counseling Center as a component of a medical examination at no cost. Call 740-427-5525 to make an appointment or with any related questions.
