Medical and Graduate Schools
Each year Kenyon graduates are accepted into medical programs around the country.
Kenyon graduates excel, in every profession. Your Kenyon education can launch you into a well-established field or onto a road less traveled. Your career may turn out to be closely related to your major, or vastly different. Kenyon will take you wherever you want to go—and serve you well. Beginning in your very first year, the Career Development Office helps you learn about career opportunities, pursue internships and externships and network with alumni, plan a strategy for a job search, and sharpen skills for negotiating the market.
About 18 percent of graduates go directly to graduate or professional schools. Of those applying to business and law schools, 99 percent are accepted. And over the last three years, 93% of Kenyon applicants with a grade-point average of 3.6 or better and MCAT scores of 508 (80%) or above have been admitted to medical school. Within five years of graduation, more than 70 percent of Kenyon graduates further their education.
