Library and Information Services' User Services department supports the mission of Kenyon by providing technology and support in key areas:

Teaching Spaces

LBIS provides audio-visual technology in over eighty classrooms and lecture halls. Many spaces include additional presentation hardware such as webcams and Smart Pen displays. In addition, we equip nearly one dozen public computing labs and computing classrooms, as well as several departmental computing labs.

Technology Support

Helpline, Kenyon's student-staffed technology help desk, assists students and employees with Kenyon's computer, network, and technology resources. Students may contact Helpline to request one-on-one or small group coaching on Kenyon network resources, including Google Mail, Calendar and Drive.

Our Event Support team provides background support for many of Kenyon's internal and guest presentations, as well as traditional Kenyon events. These services include video recording and duplication, technical support with presentation tools and microphones, and audio-visual consulting for large presentations or receptions.

Our Digitization team transfers analog audio, video, and still pictures to digital files for preservation and enhancement. If you have a digitization project that would benefit from assistance, request more information using this webform.
