Eric's recital is not open to the public, but it will be live streamed for public viewing.
Eric Schwartz is a senior music major from New York City. He started playing guitar at age six, and studied with Scott DuBois from then through high school. He began playing in casual rock bands in middle school and later joined the high school jazz band. In 2017, he had the pleasure of playing in the Independent School Music Association of New York’s honors jazz band with guest artist Benny Golson.
At Kenyon, Eric currently takes guitar lessons with Tom Davis and performed in the spring 2019 Angela Waite Recital. He plays guitar with the Kenyon Jazz Ensemble, two student rock-bands and four pit bands for student-directed musicals. He is currently co-manager of Kenyon’s student-run recording studio, WKCO.
