Senior Nyandeng Juag will present a lecture and recital for the music major.

Nyandeng Juag is a senior music major and Arabic minor from Augusta, Georgia. She has studied conducting with Benjamin Locke, musicology with Reginald Sanders, and ethnomusicology with Violet Cavicchi Muñoz. She currently studies voice with Rebecca Keck and takes piano lessons with Janet Thompson.

Nyandeng is a four-year member and current president of the Kenyon College Chamber Singers, under the direction of Benjamin Locke, and was a featured soloist her sophomore year. She is president of Colla Voce and co-founder, president, and co-music director of POCapella. After graduation, Nyandeng plans to live with family in Sudan and Egypt as she decides on the next chapter of her life.
