Join a virtual book club open to all Pittsburgh-area (or other interested) alumni, parents and friends of Kenyon. At this meeting of the book club, we will discuss "The Beekeeper of Aleppo" by Christy Lefteri.

In this session's book selection, Nuri is a beekeeper; his wife, Afra is an artist. They live a simple life, rich in family and friends, in the beautiful Syrian city of Aleppo — until the unthinkable happens and all they care for is destroyed by war. This is an unforgettable story of a mother blinded by loss and her husband who insists on their survival as they undertake the Syrian refugee trail to Europe.

Registration is now open for this free virtual event. Please contact Suzy Apel '83 P'16 at saapel17@gmail.com with any questions. Hope to see you there!
