Dean Hawks will offer advice on crafting personal statements and statements of grant purpose for fellowship and scholarship applications. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program will provide our representative example, but the information covered will be helpful for any fellowship application.
Personal Statement Writing Workshop 1 will cover the same material presented in the workshop offered last April. You needn’t have started an essay to attend, so join us to begin the process of writing an effective statement. The material covered will be useful if you’re revising a completed draft too.
Workshop 2, on Saturday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m., will continue the work of crafting personal statements and statements of grant purpose.
