Students entering 4th-6th grade are invited to spend time outside at the Brown Family Environmental Center (BFEC) and exploring "The Art of Trees" exhibition at the Gund Gallery on Kenyon's campus.
During photography sessions, students will explore the BFEC, learning how to use a digital camera and taking photos of trees, followed by an opportunity to visit the exhibition "The Art of Trees" at the Gund Gallery and print some of the photos they took outside.
During journaling sessions, students will make their own journal and learn the basics of sketching while exploring "The Art of Trees." They will then spend time outside at the BFEC looking at trees from every angle and sketching in the journals.
All materials and equipment will be provided, as well as snacks and water.
