In spring 2020, the ODEI began laying the groundwork for a LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group for our campus community.
Due to the continued challenges of the pandemic, we have not been able to safely gather this group for a follow-up info session about next steps, but we are happy to announce that the planning for this group will resume this semester!
With that being said, LGBTQ+ or questioning faculty or staff members — who are employed in a full-time, part-time or temporary role at Kenyon — are invited to attend an open info session, where they can share their insights and ideas about this new resource group. Please join us on Thursday, Sept. 23, at 12 p.m. in Hayes Hall 215.
As discussed at our previous meeting in spring 2020, the purpose of this group is to create a space for LGBTQ+ employees of Kenyon to find social and professional support, however, the functions and activities of the group will be determined by the members.
