Stop by Riverview Park in Mount Vernon for a dance-along performance for families and kids of all ages.

Choreographer and beekeeper Julie Brodie's dance team will present two performances of "Apis Bellare" a fun, interactive dance-along ballet. Be prepared to get your waggle on, and learn about how bees use dance to communicate! Performances will take place from 1 - 1:30 p.m. and 2 - 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24.

Riverview Park is across from the Wright Center at 400 S. Main St. in downtown Mount Vernon.

For more information, contact Professor of Dance Julie Brodie at brodiej@kenyon.edu or visit knox.net, and don't miss a related beekeeping demonstration on Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Mount Vernon library outdoor annex.

Co-sponsored by the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County and the Kenyon Office for Community Partnerships.
