All classes are held at 12:10 p.m. in Room 221 or in the Steen Aquatic Center.

STRONG Nation

Wednesday/Friday

Stop counting the reps. Start training to the beat. This class combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. In each class you'll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. STRONG Nation instructors change up the music and moves frequently to make sure you're always challenged to the max.

Swim Fitness

Monday/Wednesday

All levels of swimming are welcome to join, but you should be able to complete at least 100 yards of continuous swimming. The class consists of three 10-minute self-paced sets incorporating the use of kickboards, fins and pull-buoys (available at the pool), as well as swimming drills to help improve stroke technique. Goggles are strongly recommended.

Zumba

Tuesday/Thursday

We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and world rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

This class brings the dance party you know and love and adds increased resistance through light weights to help you focus on specific muscle groups, helping you — and your muscles — stay engaged.
