The Center for the Study of American Democracy (CSAD) is overjoyed to announce that we will be having an in-person screening of the documentary "A la calle" ("To the Streets"), a film documenting the protest movements against the oppression of Venezuela's Maduro regime. It closely involves the personal journey of Kenyon alumnus and Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo López '93 H '07 during the protests, his imprisonment, and his exile in Spain. The film is still on the festival circuit, and CSAD has bought tickets for the film from the Cleveland Film Festival to be able to show it here at Kenyon.

Here's how to reserve your ticket:

  1. Fill out this Google Form OR have already emailed Andrea Lechleitner to reserve the ticket (the event is limited to 50 people, so act quickly!).
  2. Have your confirmation email ready when you show up at Rosse Hall on Sunday, May 9, from 1 - 3 p.m.

We hope to see you there!
