Assistant Director of CSAD & Coordinator of GLAA Grand Challenge
The Grand Challenge is a GLCA program that forges inter-collegiate research or teaching relationships on a particular pressing topic. The 2016-18 focus is "Challenging Borders," construed broadly to include not only the social scientific study of border policies and phenomena but also the crossing or questioning of borders in the arts, sciences and humanities. Faculty whose work challenges borders and who are interested in developing international collaborations should contact Nancy Powers to learn more.
