Kyle manages the College's planned giving program, which includes gifts from estates and trusts, life income gifts, and other structured giving. A 1980 graduate of Kenyon, he practiced law in Chicago for twenty years before joining the college relations staff in February 2006. Before coming to work at Kenyon, he was a partner with the law firm of Chapman and Cutler LLP. He holds an M.A. in Divinity from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from the University of Michigan. Kyle's wife Kachen Kimmell is the mayor of Gambier, and their son Will is a student at Grinnell College.
