"Meet the World in Knox County" brings Kenyon College’s international students to Knox County classrooms to offer supplemental information at appropriate grade levels.
We hope personal experiences of our international students will assist teachers in bringing the standard curriculum to life. We offer a wide range of events and programs that are based on presentations, interactions with students, games, and all sorts of creative challenges in order to provide additional academic support. Our objective is to encourage curiosity in discussing specific topics and in exploring the world in general. This process will challenge students positively and broaden their cultural horizons.
We work with students in kindergarten through high school. This program is open to public, private and home schools, as well as to anyone who is interested in developing his/her understanding of different cultures in the world. If you have an idea, or simply want to try out something relevant to your class, please do not hesitate to contact us and give your students a fabulous international experience.
