Kenyon charges OCS students Kenyon tuition, room and board. If the program’s tuition, room, and board is higher than Kenyon tuition, room, and board, the difference in program fees will be charged by Kenyon. Kenyon will pay the student’s tuition, room and board to the program.
For programs where room and/or meals are considered additional costs and not covered by the program,
self-catered, or a portion of the meals are the student’s responsibility, Kenyon will provide a credit to the student to cover those costs, as long as it does not result in the total cost of the program fees and credit exceeding Kenyon’s total tuition, room, and board.
Financial Aid will carry to the OCS program, with the exception of work-study, Kenyon Music Lessons,
and CA Benefits. For students on financial aid, expenses such as travel, books, etc., will be taken into account when calculating any credit. Students are encouraged to discuss their specific situation with CGE staff and the Financial Aid office.
Kenyon Tuition Remission and GLCA Tuition Remission benefits do not transfer to OCS programs.
Students who receive these benefits may apply for financial aid and are strongly encouraged to talk with
Kenyon will not pay for any extra-curricular activities such as gym memberships or club fees (including study tours or field trips not included in the OCS program’s initial cost.) This includes optional pre-semester courses offered by the program.
