Kenyon PRIDE: Safe Space Ally Training Program is a comprehensive 2-day session (a total of 3 hours) that provides current and potentially new allies with information on how to support the LGBTQ+ community.
The training will include a panel of students, faculty and staff who will share their experiences as members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as implications for practice, terminology, resources and creating a safe environment for all. Allies attending the entire two-day training (a total of three hours) will have the option of completing a Safe Space pledge and being listed on our LGBTQ+ community site as a Kenyon PRIDE ally.
The program is currently being expanded and revamped to be more inclusive, practical and nuanced. The first round of the new Safe Space Ally Training Program will likely launch in late spring 2019.
Please check back for more information about how to enroll. In the meantime, feel free to explore other training options.
