Deadlines

All applicants must have interviewed with the Director or Assistant Director, Center for Global Engagement, by the end of the fall semester of their sophomore year. Interviewing sessions begin on November 1, 2011. To schedule an interview, please call the CGE at X5637. The Center for Global Engagement does not accept appointment scheduling requests by email.

The deadline for all OCS applications from sophomores interested in participating in 2011-2012 programs is February 1, 2012. If your program's deadline is earlier than Kenyon's, you must receive approval from the Director to submit your program application early. If your program's deadline is February 15th or earlier, or if you will be applying to SIT for Fall 2012 and wish to apply on the opening day of SIT applications, your Kenyon application must be complete by 4:00 p.m. on December 15, 2011. Remember that for all programs, you must have approval from Kenyon in order to earn credit from any off-campus studies.

APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE FOR ALL PROGRAMS WITH A ROLLING ADMISSIONS POLICY.

We will not accept applications that are not completed by the Kenyon deadlines, and we cannot accommodate students who do not plan ahead.
