Scholarships and Grants

Scholarships and grants include all gift assistance that do not require repayment. Academic scholarships are awarded by the Admissions office to incoming first-year students on a competitive basis. These scholarships include the Honor Scholars, Science Scholars, Trustee Opportunity Scholars; Distinguished Academic Scholarships; and National Merit Corporation Scholarships. Need-based grants as well as other scholarship and grant opportunities may be offered depending upon eligibility. Funding for these programs come from several different sources, including the College itself, and federal and state government agencies. Scholarships and grants from private organizations must be reported to Kenyon College and also included as part of the financial aid package.
