This medieval and Tudor house, dating from the 14th century (with additions through the 16th century) lies hidden in a romantic wooden setting on the Cornish side of the Tamar estuary. Its terraced garden was added in the 19th century. The bed at right was used by Charles I during his visits to Cothele and the West Country.
