Fine Fellows
GAMBIER, Ohio (February 26, 2013)The inaugural Kenyon Review fellows, Elizabeth Lindsey Rogers and Natalie Shapero, will read from their new books of poetry on Thursday, February 28, at 4:10 p.m. in the Cheever Room at the Finn House.
Rogers's first book, Chord Box, was published in February by the University of Arkansas Press Poetry Series. Her poems have appeared in Crazyhorse, Field, Prairie Schooner, Agni Online, Crab Orchard Review, Seneca Review, POOL, the Kenyon Review Online, Asheville Poetry Review, StorySouth, among others.
Shapero's forthcoming book, No Object, will be published in March by Saturnalia Books. Her poems have appeared in magazines and literary journals including the Kenyon Review, the New Republic, Poetry, the Believer, and the Progressive. No Object is her first full-length collection.
Rogers and Shapero are the inaugural Kenyon Review fellows. The two-year fellowships provide an opportunity for the development of writing, teaching, and editing skills.
