Star Power Reprise
The second annual Dancing with the Kenyon Stars competition raised $1,050 for a local poverty-fighting community action agency.
Brandy Arredondo '14 of Falls Church, Virginia, and Gary DiClementi, assistant men's lacrosse coach, carried the evening on Friday, winning the competition for audience votes in Rosse Hall. They danced a high-energy, high-flying jive to the Twisted Sister song We're Not Gonna Take It.
They were among seven couples vying for the top honor but mostly interested in raising money for Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Community Action Commission, which is based in Coshocton and serves Knox, Holmes, Coshocton and Ashland counties. Student members of the Ballroom Dance Club partnered with administrators, faculty, and staff.
