Pashmina Murthy is a recent addition to the faculty at Kenyon. She joins the English department in 2012 after having taught in the department of Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Minnesota. Her courses for the coming year include a literary tour of global cities, an exploration of identity outside gender binaries, and a reflection on the dangers and power of reading literature. She is currently working on a book project theorizing gender violence in postcolonial literary and political spaces.
