Now that spring has finally arrived, some of our seniors this year are finalizing their plans for life after Kenyon. Here is an early sampling:
Ryan Motevalli-Oliner, American studies major, corps member for Teach for America in Memphis
Elizabeth Daly, international studies and modern languages (Spanish) double major, special education teacher for Teach for America in Chicago
Susan Livermore, English and modern languages (Spanish) double major, traveling to Mexico on a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English and conduct an oral histories project
Devin Ensing, economics major and statistics minor, junior research associate on the hedge fund database team at Cambridge Associates in Arlington, Virginia
Monty Sherwood, international studies and modern languages (Spanish and French) double major, leading community service trips for teenagers in the British Virgin Islands with the Overland Program
Elena Zarabozo, economics major with public policy concentration, research assistant in the Health Policy Center of the Urban Institute in Washington, D.C.
Nicolyn Woodcock, English major, obtaining an M.A. in English literature at Miami University of Ohio while teaching first-year rhetoric and composition
Julia Steinberg, English and American studies double major, deciding between the master's program at Columbia Teachers College, NYC Teaching Fellowship, and Urban Teaching Corps
Graham Sorenson, biology major, coordinating a project to help map the location of invasive species with the Nature Conservancy in Vermont
Margo Smith, mathematics and neuroscience double major, lab technician at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York
Christian Martinez-Canchola, English and sociology double major, teaching billingual elementary school with Teach for America in Dallas
Kimberly Qualls, film major, attending Florida State University in Tallahassee to obtain an M.A. in social work
Anuj Ezekiel, political science major, assistant director at political consulting firm Grassroots Campaigns in their New York office
Dan Riggins, molecular biology major, post-baccalaureate fellowship for the FDA in Washington, D.C.
Andrew Jack, mathematics and economics double major, financial institution specialist in the Division of Risk Management for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in San Francisco
Sam Hull, economics major, analyst for Goldman Sachs' Investment Banking Division in Los Angeles
Georgina Leslie, English and Russian area studies double major, teaching elementary school with Teach for America in Kansas City
Meghan Henshall, women's and gender studies major, Peace Corps volunteer service in Cambodia for two years
Mia Neidhardt, economics and Spanish area studies double major, Peace Corps volunteer in the Federated States of Micronesia as an English teacher and community development worker
Dominique Chevalier, biology major, received an IRTA Post-Baccaulareate Fellowship with the National Institute of Health and will be working with the reproductive medicine group of the Laboratory of Reproductive and Developmental Toxicology, NIEHS in Research Triangle, North Carolina
Erin Armentrout, molecular biology major, will enroll in the Biomedical Sciences Training Program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland
Gian Garduque has big plans! A molecular biology major and Japanese minor, Gian was accepted to dental school, but will be taking a year off and attending the University of Iowa College Dentistry in the fall of 2013. What is he doing until then? Finalizing his wedding plans with fiancee Ayako Tokuyama '11. Their wedding is scheduled for December 2012 in Hawaii!
