Christine Ann Bonomo

2011 Hatcher Prize Winner


Christine Bonomo graduated summa cum laude in May 2011. During her time at Kenyon, Christine majored in English and minored in History. She also participated in the Archon Society (a co-ed Greek service organization), Student Government Class Committee, Tour Guides, Wiggin Street Volunteers, Kenyon College Chamber Singers, and Student Lectureships. As a Research Fellow in the John W. Adams Summer Legal Scholars Program, Christine spent the summer before her senior year researching the regulation of feminine sexuality in the law codes of Reconquest Iberia under the guidance of Professor of History Jeffrey Bowman. She plans to begin law school at the University of Chicago in Fall 2011 and hopes to pursue a career in public interest women's law. Christine attributes much of her success to her supportive family, friends, and professors.
