At the end of each semester, the Kenyon College Bookstore hosts buyback, an opportunity for you to get cash for books you no longer need. Prices paid vary considerably, based on condition, current edition and, most importantly, on whether Kenyon faculty has informed the bookstore that the same book/edition will be used on campus in a coming semester.

Fall 2012 buyback hours will take place December 17 through December 22. Please check back for details, hours, etc.

We bring in an outside contractor to run buyback on behalf of the Kenyon College Bookstore. We provide a list of titles and quantities for texts that have been adopted by Kenyon faculty for upcoming classes. For titles that are not on our list, the contractor may be able to purchase them for resale on other campuses.

In the event that the contractor is unable to purchase your books either for Kenyon or for its own stock, the bookstore offers a donation box for Canterbury Kenyon's book drive. Your book donations go to Better World Books, which sells them online and sends a portion of the proceeds back to Canterbury.
