Alumni Admissions

Participants in this program assist Kenyon in recruiting students from their local area by sending names of prospective students to the Office of Admissions, contacting students in person or by telephone, representing the College at high-school college fairs, interviewing prospective students, and attending receptions. For more information, please contact the admissions office at 740-427-5776. Learn about the Kenyon Alumni Admissions Network.

Alumni Council

Nominations for the Alumni Council are solicited throughout the year. Candidates are considered by the Alumni Council at the fall meeting and final candidates stand for election by ballot sent to all alumni in February. Four members are elected each year for a three-year term. Alumni Council members meet three times a year to become better informed about the College, to discuss issues of interest to alumni, and to advise the College. Also see the alumni council page. For more information, contact Scott R. Baker '94, director of alumni and parent programs, at bakersr@kenyon.edu or 740-427-5147.

Class Agents

Alumni volunteer to serve as liaisons between the class and the College by writing at least two letters a year to the class providing information about the College, classmates, and the Kenyon Fund. Also see the class agent page. For more information, call 740-427-5152 or 1-800-KENYONC.

Kenyon Career Network

Alumni volunteer to give advice and information about their occupations or professions to current students and recent graduates. The Career Development Office coordinates the program. For more information, please call 740-427-5165.

Kenyon Fund Executive Committee

KFEC members are appointed by current members. The group meets twice during the year to advise the staff on goal stetting, strategic planning, implementation and monitoring of the Kenyon Fund. Also see the KFEC page. For more information, contact Shawn Dailey, director of annual giving, at daileys@kenyon.edu or 740-427-5151.

Regional Steering Committees

Also see thelist of regional association Web sites. For more information, contact Alexandra Compton, director of regional events, at comptona@kenyon.edu or 740-427-5096.

Reunion Planning

Each year, beginning in early fall, alumni who have a major reunion (every five years) in May work with the College to plan the celebrations. For more information, please call 740-427-5152. The reunion guide contains useful information form members of the reunion committee.
