Participants in this program assist Kenyon in recruiting students from their local area by sending names of prospective students to the Office of Admissions, contacting students in person or by telephone, representing the College at high-school college fairs, interviewing prospective students, and attending receptions. Nominations for the Alumni Council are solicited throughout the year. Candidates are considered by the Alumni Council at the fall meeting and final candidates stand for election by ballot sent to all alumni in February. Four members are elected each year for a three-year term. Alumni Council members meet three times a year to become better informed about the College, to discuss issues of interest to alumni, and to advise the College. Also see the alumni council page. KFEC members are appointed by current members. The group meets twice during the year to advise the staff on goal stetting, strategic planning, implementation and monitoring of the Kenyon Fund.
