Applying for NSF Grants
Kenyon Proceedure:
- Contact the FGFC (peelle@kenyon.edu) with notification of intent to apply well before the deadline. The FGFC will be sure that you are registered in Fastlane.
- Find and download application packet.
- Carefully Read the Grant Proposal Guide.
- Develop the proposal and budget. If there is any requirement of matching, the proposal will have to go through the Kenyon Grants Committee. All proposals must go to the Assistant Controller. The Assistant controller can help you develop your budget. The Assistant Controller must review and approve all budgets before the college will allow the final submission of the proposal. Have your colleague/s and/or the FGFC read the proposal for content and editorial advice.
- When the proposal is complete, Submit the proposal to NSF through Fastlane. Be sure you have included all required parts. (*Data management plan, *Responsible Conduct of Research plan.)
- Through Fastlane, the Assitant Controller will approve the proposal and BUDGET.
- Through Fastlane, the FGFC will take care of the final submisssion and inform you that the submission has been completed.
