A Celebration of Classes
At the annual alumni awards luncheon during Reunion Weekend, several awards were presented for outstanding achievement during 2009-10.
The Class of '21 Plate is given to the class with the greatest percentage of its members donating to the Kenyon Fund. The Class of 1970 won for its participation rate of 58 percent.
The William H. Thomas Jr. Cup honors the reunion class donating the largest cumulative amount given and pledged to the Kenyon Fund, reflecting the new multi-year giving program. The Class of 1970 won the award for its contributions of $254,326.
The Peirce Cup is awarded annually to the class with the greatest percentage of its members in attendance at Reunion Weekend. The Class of 2005 won the award, with 44 percent of its members present.
The Class of '62 Award is given to the reunion class, among those celebrating fifth to twentieth reunions, with the greatest percentage of its members donating to the Kenyon Fund. The Class of 2005 won the award, with 37 percent of its members participating.
The Class of '63 Cup, awarded in acknowledgement of the class whose contributions to the Kenyon Fund, in total dollars, represent the greatest percentage increase over their giving for the previous year. The Class of '63 Cup recognizes devotion to the reunion-giving program and perseverance in working toward an ambitious reunion giving goal. The Class of 1995, with an increase of more than 277 percent, won the award.
The Class of '87 Award recognizes the class, among those celebrating fifth to twentieth reunions, with the highest cumulative Kenyon Fund total, for their multi-year reunion giving campaign. The Class of 1990 won the award for its members' contributions of $107,535.
The Kenyon Fund Executive Committee Leadership Giving Award is given to the class with the largest number of new leadership donors. The Class of 1985 won the award with 25 new leadership donors.

Alumni Council Humanitarian Service Award
Awarded at the discretion of the Alumni Council to members of the Kenyon family who have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to humanitarian service.
