Why join a Fraternity or Sorority?
Because you, like many men and women at Kenyon, want more from college than a diploma. You want to meet and socialize with a wide variety of people; you want to form life-long friendships so you have people to reminisce with after you graduate; you want to take an active part in campus activities; you want a place to return to and a group of people to welcome you home when you return as an alumnus.
For these reasons and many others, Kenyon students have been joining and forming their own Greek organizations for over 150 years!
Although Greek Life has always been about brotherhood and sisterhood, fraternities and sororities are not social clubs. Members have outstanding opportunities for leadership development and group involvement, academic assistance and recognition, athletic participation, community involvement and philanthropy, and responsible social interaction.
