National Survey of Student Engagement
The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) collects information from first-year students and seniors about their participation in programs and activities that institutions provide for their learning and personal development. The results help Kenyon understand the undergraduate experience in and out of the classroom, both areas where the student experience is strong and positive and areas for improvement. Kenyon participates in the NSSE every three years.
The following documents are provided by the NSSE to Kenyon. They show the results for Kenyon first year students and seniors for the spring of 2008 and 2011, along with comparative data from institutions in Kenyon's "Carnegie class" (i.e. other liberal arts colleges) and from all colleges and universities that participated in the NSSE.
