Orientation Schedule and Arrival Details

Welcome Class of 2017, parents, and families!

Orientation for new and transfer students begins Saturday, August 24, 2013 and concludes on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. The first day of classes for all students is Thursday, August 29.

Please make plans to move into your assigned room on Saturday, August 24 between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (If you cannot make it by 5:00 p.m., don't worry! We'll have everything waiting for you!) When you arrive on campus, you should proceed directly to Gund Commons (101 East Brooklyn Street), where representatives of the Student Affairs and Admissions staffs will be there to greet you.

At the Welcome Center, you will pick up your Orientation folder, new student ID, and room key, as well as register your bicycle and conduct other important business.

Parents should plan to depart campus around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25.

A complete Orientation 2013 schedule will be posted in mid-summer.
