Kenyon College invites applications for a two year, Visiting Assistant Professor of Russian Language and Literature beginning August 2010.
Introduction
The Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Kenyon College seeks to fill a two year, visiting position in Russian Language and Literature, beginning August 2010.
The successful candidate must be able to teach language courses at all levels and Russian literature in translation. Specialization open.
Native or near-native fluency in Russian and English and evidence of teaching excellence required. Ph.D. preferred.
The College
Kenyon College is a highly selective, nationally ranked, private, residential, liberal-arts college. Salaries at Kenyon are competitive and commensurate with experience. There are a number of faculty development opportunities (e.g. travel, research funds, etc.) for which appointees are eligible.
