Will has spent most of his life living within two miles of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean in the small town of Brielle, New Jersey. While far from the ocean in Ohio, he is finding plenty of natural beauty in hilly Gambier, especially along the Kokosing Gap Trail.
Will previously moved inland to attend Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, graduating in 2010 with a B.A. in history. His wrote his research thesis on Cherokee Indians who fought for the Confederacy during the Civil War. Will continues to learn about the history of the United States South; he is an admirer of General Robert E. Lee, and has recently started a Civil War memorabilia collection.
Reading has always been one of Will's favorite pastimes; some of his favorite authors are Carlos Ruiz Zafón, David Sedaris, and Richard Russo. Having grown up reading the Harry Potter series, Will was thrilled to see that Kenyon looks a lot like Hogwarts! Ever since his cross-country days in high school, Will has continued to run for both fitness and fun. He is also a baseball fan (rooting especially for the New York Yankees and the Minnesota Twins) and follows college basketball.
In his spare time he also enjoys connecting students to scholarship opportunities through his scholarship Web site (www.scholarships360.org). Will joined the admissions staff in 2011 and is looking forward to helping prospective students learn about Kenyon!
