Adrienne grew up in Woodstock, Georgia, a city in the metro-Atlanta area. Hoping to balance her desire for a rigorous academic environment with the opportunity to pursue competitive swimming, she stumbled upon Kenyon toward the end of her senior year in high school and knew that it was the place for her. She arrived in Gambier in the fall of 2005 excited about her new home and the prospect of buying her first winter coat.
During her time at Kenyon, Adrienne was a member of the Ladies swim team, and became a seven-time NCAA All-American. She was also the head community advisor for south campus and an avid member of the Math Club. While studying math at Kenyon, Adrienne conducted research varying from mathematical models of love to yield management in the airline industry, culminating in a Senior Exercise on chaotic behavior found in neuron models.
Adrienne graduated in 2009 with a major in mathematics and a concentration in the Integrated Program in Humane Studies, an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the history of Western thought. After a short vacation, she returned as an admissions counselor for her alma mater and is looking forward to sharing her love of Kenyon with many prospective students in her new role while pursuing mathematics research and continuing to swim and run in her free time.
