OCS scholarships
We hope that Kenyon's financial aid and fee policies make Off-Campus Study an affordable choice for any Kenyon family. In fact, depending on the program and country of choice, you may find that it is less expensive than the equivalent semester or year at Kenyon. If you are concerned that your family will not be able to afford your study off-campus, please talk with us. We do not want financial limitations to keep you from this valuable opportunity.
There are various sources of scholarships and grants available for Off-Campus Study, the most common being given by the program provider to defray some of the program costs. If you are granted a scholarship and receive financial aid, notifying the financial aid office of your scholarship generally diminishes the loan portion of your financial aid package.
Program Scholarships
Many of the program providers offer scholarships to students accepted to their programs. It is more likely that you will secure a scholarship if you apply early. Scholarships are offered by IES, Arcadia, CIEE, DIS, IES, IFSA-Butler, SACI, SFS, and SIT, among others. Check with the program provider for details about their scholarship process.
